As of January 1, 2018, OptumRX will be the prescription provider for the SEHBP.
Information about the negotiated change of carrier was available on the NJEA website as well as through previous communications at various levels.
BY now all members should have received their notification postcard from the state regarding this change.
All member should be expecting and looking for a new OptumRX prescription card to be provided to them during the month of December. Make sure you are vigilant looking for this mailing due to the importance.
NJEA has been working with OptumRX on developing a Question and Answer Handout that will answer questions the NJREA retirees and Active NJEAmembers may have.
It is important that members NOT CONTACT OptumRX regarding the new plan since all aspects have not yet been finalized and you may not receive information that is specific to the SEHBP. we will continue to provide you with updated information in a timely manner as soon as it is available.
